We are committed to serving as a force for integrity, good sense and wise solutions to the problems facing businesses and the capital markets today. Transparency and good standards of corporate governance – both in our clients' businesses and in our own – are central to our ability to achieve those objectives.

Our success in meeting today's business challenges rests on the way we approach our work. With about 8,700 employees in our 28 offices around Germany we are able to draw on the knowledge and skills of our people in Germany and of others in the global PwC network.

Our business segments

PwC specialists offer services in the business segments of Auditing and the related areas of Assurance, Tax & Legal and Advisory. A high standard of specialization in respective business sectors and consistent further development and expansion thereof are characteristic for our experts. We advise not only globally operating groups but also middle-market companies, private clients and non-profit organizations.

Assurance (auditing and audit-related services)

The Assurance division at PwC undertakes all types of statutory and voluntary audits, from annual and group audits pursuant to IFRS and HGB to special audits and internal audits. Professional advisory services in the areas of accounting, regulatory, risk management, reporting, corporate governance, IT & processes, actuarial services and sustainability round off the range of services of Assurance.

Tax & Legal (tax and legal consulting)

No matter whether a business is local, regional or worldwide, there is barely a decision taken today that does not have some kind of tax impact. For us in PwC Tax & Legal, this acts as a spur in our efforts to develop and implement innovative solutions to all tax questions and issues.

Advisory (deals and consulting)

In its Advisory division, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) pools all of its advisory services on business, financial and regulatory matters. The range of advisory services covers the efficiency and security of internal business processes as well as securing and increasing values within the company through internal and external growth.
