How can we establish and market a new technology successfully in the IoT market and beyond?
Scope
With simple functions and sensor-laden endpoints, Lensless Smart Sensors (LSS) are about to play an important role as new layers of the IoT infrastructure go online. Our client pioneered the LSS development and met high interest in licensing the technology. Still, they felt they needed to investigate potential markets and use cases to successfully establish this promising technology.
Impact
Building on our previous experience, we focused on three use cases, built experience prototypes for each and co-hosted events in Munich and San Francisco with potential industry partners. Furthermore, we facilitated the content creation for a LSS developer kit. The results of this collaboration were presented at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and were awarded prizes by a prestigious specialist magazine.
