The Deal

The PwC M&A team is pleased to announce the successful sale of sevDesk GmbH ("sevdesk") to Cegid SA. sevdesk is a leading provider of cloud-based pre-accounting, accounting, e-invoicing, and online tax declaration software solutions for Micro and SMB businesses in the DACH region. The shareholders of sevdesk aimed to find a strategic partner that could support sevdesk's next phase of growth and value creation. The objective was to leverage the company's strong market position and high growth potential, particularly in light of upcoming electronic invoicing reforms.

The share purchase agreement was signed in December 2024 and the transaction successfully closed in February 2025.
