The Deal

In July 2014, DT Holding AG has closed the sale of 100% of the shares in Technical Plastic Systems GmbH ("TPS") including all its subsidiaries to Possehl Electronics GmbH ("Possehl Electronics"). PwC M&A Germany acted as M&A advisor to DT Holding AG. We managed a competitive auction process with international strategic investors.

DT Holding AG

DT Holding AG is an investment firm headquartered in Bad Soden, Germany. The firm has acquired the shares in TPS in 2009 and has successfully developed the company into a globally present automotive supplier.

Technical Plastic Systems GmbH

TPS is a manufacturer of high-precision hybrid injection moulding components supplied to the automotive industry. The company is headquartered in Wackersdorf, Germany, and operates manufacturing locations in Germany, the Czech Republic, Mexico and China and employs more than 1,000 people globally.

Possehl Electronics Deutschland GmbH

Possehl Electronics with its subsidiary pretema GmbH is a manufacturer of technologically advanced hybrid injection moulding systems. The company is headquartered in Niefern-Öschelbronn, Germany, and has approx. 2,500 employees. Possehl Electronics operates 8 manufacturing locations globally.
