Effective support for EUDR compliance and due diligence

The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) challenges companies to demonstrate compliance with complex due diligence obligations across their supply chains. The regulatory requirements are stringent: operators must provide the plot of origin via geolocation, analyse and document risks, and continuously conduct risk mitigation measures, where needed. Meeting these requirements can consume significant resources and demands both specialist knowledge and technical expertise.

With our EUDR Managed Service, we provide you with a team of trained ESG analysts who offer targeted support in the operational fulfilment of your due diligence obligations. Our modular service covers risk analysis, the submission of due diligence statements, and the continuous monitoring of measures on your behalf. By taking on key operational tasks, we reduce the burden on your internal teams and provide efficient support for the compliant implementation of the EUDR requirements – both today and with a view to future regulatory developments.

Our experts work closely with you to develop and establish tailored processes and IT solutions that integrate seamlessly into your existing structures. In this way, we lay the foundation for sustainable compliance, allowing you to focus on your core business.

“Our Managed Service allows you to significantly reduce the burden on your internal resources, while we provide you with efficient support on your journey towards achieving EUDR compliance.”

What our EUDR Managed Service offers you

Companies subject to the EUDR face the challenge of efficiently fulfilling their due diligence obligations as part of their day-to-day operations. These day-to-day operations, which are shaped by the due diligence process within the EUDR tool, are often resource-intensive and technically demanding. This is particularly true when companies need to manage numerous suppliers and products. This is where our EUDR Managed Service steps in, taking over core operational tasks directly for you within the system of your choice.

We handle the ongoing onboarding of new suppliers and products, verify and document the required information, and thus enable you to execute the due diligence process in accordance with regulatory requirements. Our team also processes the submission of due diligence statements to the EUDR Information System TRACES reliably and swiftly. This significantly reduces the burden on your internal resources.

Our service adapts flexibly to your needs: we offer support both for the initial set-up within your organisation and for the continuous management of your due diligence processes. Where required, we integrate seamlessly into your existing workflows or take over specific operational areas – always with a view to a strategic partnership with you.

Our specialist team members are here for you. Benefit from their expertise, which ensures rapid problem-solving and provides guidance on all operational and technical matters related to the EUDR. This not only enables you to fulfil your regulatory obligations but also creates transparency and security for your company and your supply chain.

Our EUDR Managed Service at a glance

EUDR due diligence

Our Managed Service for daily due diligence under the EUDR specifically relieves you of resource-intensive processes to ensure that your relevant commodities and products are EUDR compliant. All key activities are bundled in this Managed Service – from data collection from your suppliers through risk assessment to reporting to the competent authorities in the form of due diligence statements.

Our EUDR Managed Service consists of five coordinated steps that enable comprehensive and sustainable EUDR compliance:

1. Supplier onboarding and data collection
Successfully integrating suppliers and products into the EUDR tool forms the basis of EUDR compliance. We support you in fully capturing all necessary supplier and product data. To collect the necessary data, we send questionnaires to your suppliers via the EUDR tool. We then check the responses for completeness and request any missing documents where necessary. Our structured approach enhances data quality and provides support for your risk management decisions.

2. Risk assessment
We operate the EUDR tool of your choice on your behalf to carry out a technology-driven risk assessment according to the regulatory requirements and based on your risk profile. We then analyse the supplier data, which is essential for assessing the reliability and compliance of the information provided. The result is a risk assessment that offers you a clear and concise overview of the risks identified, enabling your organisation to manage them effectively.

3. Risk mitigation (optional)
Where risks are identified, we can support you in designing and implementing appropriate risk mitigation measures. Our experts can also perform independent reviews or audits to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the measures already taken.

4. Continuous reporting
We take care of the technology-supported preparation and uploading of your due diligence statements to the EUDR Information System TRACES.

5. Annual reporting (optional)
Our team is also happy to assist you in preparing the annual public due diligence report, allowing you to communicate important information to stakeholders and the public effectively.

HS code analysis

(optional)

We assist you with initial and ongoing assessments of whether your commodities and products fall within the scope of the EUDR. This covers both existing and new items in your procurement portfolio. Our Managed Service can be extended to include continuous HS code analysis, enabling you to respond dynamically to changes in your procurement portfolio and to regulatory amendments.

Regular supplier checks

(optional)

Our Managed Service analyses upstream suppliers as part of the annual supplier check. We examine – in line with EUDR-related publication requirements, where applicable – whether participants in the upstream supply chain have appropriate and proportionate policies, procedures, and controls in place. In doing so, we help you to ensure the appropriate and regular fulfilment of your upstream due diligence obligations.
