Dr Volker Fitzner has more than 25 years of experience in advising predominantly chemicals and pharma/life sciences clients. He is primarily focused on business model transformation and deals projects.
Volker is the Global Chemicals Leader at PwC and a member of the Global Energy, Utilities & Resources leadership team. He has significant experience in managing global clients and represents PwC frequently as a speaker and moderator at chemicals as well as renewable energy events.
Volker has been advising companies in areas such as
- Strategic decision advice and value creation
- M&A advice including in-/out – licensing and collaboration agreements
- Valuation of companies, portfolios and R&D projects
- Business planning and financial modeling
His client base ranges from market leading global players in chemicals and pharma to mid-size companies and start-ups in the life sciences and clean-tech space.
Volker has co-authored relevant thought leadership in the chemicals domain, most recently “Sustainable chemicals pathways” in cooperation with the Institute of Sustainable Futures @ University of Technology Sydney/Australia.
