PwC acted as exclusive financial advisor Röhr-Bush GmbH & Co. KG on its sale to Kairos Industries AG
The Deal
PwC advised Röhr-Bush GmbH & Co. KG (“Röhr-Bush”) and its subsidiary Bush Europe Ltd. (UK) on its sale of the majority of shares to Kairos Industries AG (“Kairos”). PwC initiated a structured sales process to find a new best owner for Röhr-Bush as part of a succession plan and to support the Company’s long-term growth strategy. The transaction was closed on 4th March 2016.
Röhr-Bush GmbH & Co. KG (“Röhr-Bush”)
Röhr-Bush is a leading manufacturer of youth and office furniture in Germany with approx. €35m in sales. The product portfolio of Röhr-Bush includes the design and production of own furniture lines, the production of furniture for other notable German furniture manufacturers and services such as packaging, logistics and pre-assembly. Röhr-Bush employs more than 230 FTEs in its locations in Rietberg, Germany and in its sales subsidiary in Milton Keynes, UK.
Kairos Industries AG (“Kairos”)
Kairos is an industrial holding company specialized on the acquisition and operative support of German mid-sized companies and group carve-outs. Kairos concentrates on the long-term strategic development of its subsidiaries and invests solely its own financial resources.
